Lauren’s best friend of 16 years, there’s no one else who could possibly fill this role. From college to careers, dorms to suburbs, they’ve tackled life together side by side since they were kids. Along the way, they’ve owned two houses in two different states, shared everything from couches to crisis calls, custody of three very spoiled black cats, and built a friendship so close that even Lauren’s dad jokes he can’t remember if they “made that one” or not.  He's family in every way that matters.

Bradley is Brad’s 19-year-old son, and the best possible choice for Best Man. These days, he, Brad, and Lauren often team up for game nights -though more often than not, he and Lauren join forces to (lovingly) gang up on Brad. Bradley is smart, funny, and kind, and the couple is so proud to have him standing by their side on such an important day.

Brad met Erik - Lauren’s older brother - for the first time at Erik’s own wedding. Talk about a memorable introduction. Despite living across the country, Erik and Brad clicked right away. While they don’t get to see each other often, they always pick up right where they left off. Erik is thrilled to finally have a brother (his words), and Lauren couldn’t imagine this day without her big brother standing up there with them.

Lauren’s sister-in-law and fellow corgi video connoisseur. Jes and Lauren bonded quickly over their shared love of video games, Dungeons & Dragons, gardening, and sending each other the most aggressively adorable Instagram reels imaginable. She's family by marriage, but more importantly she’s family by choice.

Jes Holmgren

Lauren and Katya met at work and bonded immediately- proving that yes, it is possible to become best friends over Zoom. What started as quick check-ins between team leads turned into marathon 1:1s, late-night Discord calls, video game sessions, and a friendship that spans countries. Katya is Lauren’s work and long-distance bestie, and one of her favorite humans on the planet. She’s flying in from Canada to be here, and Lauren couldn’t imagine the day without her.

Chris and Lauren have been friends and coworkers for nearly five years - and thanks to a not-so-subtle invitation to a “board game night,” he also became one of Brad’s closest friends. When Brad first got back into Warhammer but had no one to really play it with, Lauren had a hunch Chris (a fellow Warhammer nerd) would be the perfect match. She was right. Two years later, Chris and his lovable giant of a dog, Luther, come over nearly every Saturday night for Warhammer and hangouts. It’s tradition now, and Brad wouldn’t have it any other way.

I know. We’re Lauren and Brad. We’re Rey and Vinny. We’re Lauren and Vinny. We’re Rey and Brad. We both have nicknames that about half the people in our lives call us and we couldn’t figure out how to do this whole wedding thing without confusing at least a quarter of the people involved so….we just went with our legal names. We’re still Rey and Vinny.
